It is no surprise that we like tasting wine. We also love learning about new wines and to see how our favorites are evolving throughout the years.  That is why the annual California Family Winemakers tasting in San Francisco is one of our favorites. We try to get to the Family Winemakers event every year when we are in town. Why? This tasting focuses exclusively on typically smaller, family-owned wineries. These wineries often do not have tasting rooms for you to try their wines.  We love being able to taste them all under one roof.

This annual event will be in San Francisco on Sunday, August 26, 2018. It gives attendees a unique opportunity to meet the winemakers behind and to taste the wares of 60 of the state’s premier, award-winning smaller wineries. They will be pouring hundreds of wines, including up to 40 different varietals, from all of the state’s wine regions.
