The Zadkine Museum is a small Paris museum that profiles the sculpture of Russian-born Ossip Zadkine. He was a prominent member of the School of Paris, which was a group of foreign-born artists who worked in Paris early in the 20th century.
The museum is located in the artist’s former home, studio, and garden. It contains about 300 sculptures as well as tapestries, drawings, and photographs.
Most of the sculptures are in stone, but some are also in wood and bronze. Most of the works are generally abstract, somewhat primitivist, and cubist representations of human figures or heads.

It is a small museum that is a great place to see art away from the crowds of Paris’ larger museums.
