
Zinfandel Advocates & Producers held its second annual Grille-O-Rama at Alameda’s Rock Wall Winery Saturday, August 11. about 300 members took advantage of an opportunity to taste more than 100 Zinfandels from 30 producers from across the state. The wines, which were organized by growing region, were complemented by freshly grilled dishes from four area chefs. The highlights were Pican Restaurant’s Sophina Uong’s grilled pork tacos and Chef Tyler Stone’s grilled beef shortribs with chimichurri. The pulled pork sliders from Dawn Wofford of Sonoma Smokehouse were also a treat.
